I have loved horses for as long as I can remember. My "First Horse" was a pinto Welsh pony that I couldn't ride, catch or even touch most of the time. But I adored just sitting in the field, taking photos of him for hours upon hours. He was a beautiful sorrel and white pinto with a long, flowing white and red mane and bushy foretop. Those fleeting moments that I might have been able convince him to take an apple from my hand were priceless and filled my heart right to the top. The images that I was able to capture of him take me right back to the summer of my twelve year old year. I relieve some of my fondest memories, looking through photo albums.
I have operated my Western Lifestyle Photography Company for more than ten years. Mostly self taught, I continue to take as many courses as I can to learn new techniques and keep my creative spark glowing. I am a true Equine Enthusiast and my equine photography skills have been developed with a love and passion for the horse. I strive to produce amazing images and truly believe that great equine photography should capture the beauty, strength and spirit of horses, as well as the unique bond that can be built between horse and rider. As a Horsewoman myself, I understand that the connection you have with your horse is like no other.
It is my goal to help others capture amazing images that they can look back on and be taken right back to the moment you heard the shutter click. The summer breeze through a flowing mane, a soft nicker and the smell of freshly eaten grass or a newly bedded stall. Photographs are often a person's most treasured material possession. I want your images to be just as amazing as the moment itself.
Let's get your images feeling more like the memories you're making.
